For three days, thought leaders and entrepreneurs in lifestyle and popular culture from all genres of art, music and food came to express themselves through Vision, Taste and Sound, celebrating the creative forces that contribute to the message of Africa’s contribution to the global society. The Absa sponsored showcase hosted at Cape Town’s Lifestyle Centre, Wembley Square ran from 20 – 22 November 2014. Highlights of the event included performances by internationally renowned musicians Jeremy Loops and Dan Patlantsky, a panel discussion with Lauren Beukes on her new book and saw highly acclaimed new media artists such as Triggerfish Animation, Joey Hifi, and a handpicked selection of some of Africa’s best multi-media and traditional visual artists sharing the space. The event also included an African coffee festival.

Go4word was tasked to manage traditional PR as well as running the social media pages during the lead up to the event.
